The Llyrical Adventures revolve around the adventures of Nick and Nicole O'Connell on their cruising sailboat, Llyrical. The first book in the series has been completed and has been submitted for publication. Two additional books in the series are in the conceptual phase.
The first book, Message of the Mistral, is set in the Mediterranean. In it, Nick and Nicole meet and begin their romance with one another and the sea. They work together against mysterious adversaries to solve a series of clues leading to a treasure hidden by a Templar Knight 700 years ago on an island off the coast of France. Along the way, they meet a variety of colorful supporting characters including pirates, gypsies, soldiers and priests. Follow the above link to read an excerpt.
In the second book, Caribbean Calypso, Nick and Nicole's daughters are kidnapped by an old nemesis. They must find and solve a series of clues left by the girls in order to rescue them.
In the third book, Peril of the Picaroons, Nick and Nicole honeymoon on the Chesapeake and discover the historical legacy of the Picaroons. They find themselves in a race against time against a rapacious industrialist in an effort to preserve an 18th century document important to U.S. history.
Additional books in the series are forthcoming. I am certain that Llyrical and her crew will drop her dock lines, slide out of her slip, and find further adventures on the open seas.
